Ram Navami EXCLUSIVE: Meet Actress Ashi Singh Shares Childhood Memories, Says ‘We Used To Be Up All Night…’

Ashi Singh Ram Navami Memories: One of the most significant Hindu festivals, Ram Navami marks the birth anniversary of Lord Rama, who was born during the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month on Navami Tithi.

Before Ram Navami, nine days are spent worshipping the nine different forms of Goddess Durga and on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, the devotees celebrate the birth of Lord Ram. Hence, the festival is called Ram Navami. The whole nation is celebrating Ram Navami today (March 30).

On the special occasion, actress Ashi Singh who's currently playing the titular role in ZEE TV's Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet exclusively told us about her most cherished memories connected to the festival and how she plans on celebrating it this year.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF ASHI SINGH ON RAM NAVAMI

Ashi Singh, who is winning hearts for her performance as Meet Hooda in the ZEE TV show, said, "During my childhood, we used to be up all night as there was a temple nearby where celebrations would go on in full swing. These are the memories I cherish, and it will always remain special to me."

The actress added, "I make sure to visit a temple during these nine days of Navratri and take Maa Durga's blessings. The ninth day of Chaitra Navratri is Ram Navami, which is celebrated as Lord Rama's birthday. Every year, on this day, people fast and worship Lord Ram and Hanuman together. I wish all my fans a joyous celebration and urge them all to celebrate it with love and enthusiasm."

ABOUT ZEE TV SHOW MEET

As the name suggests, the popular ZEE TV show revolves around a free-spirited young girl from Haryana, Meet Hooda (played by Ashi Singh). Shangu Pandey plays the male lead opposite Ashi. It premiered in 2021 and will complete two years in August.
