Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2's Randeep Rai Makes A BIG Change As He Bags Ekta Kapoor's New Show

Randeep Rai new show: Randeep Rai has been hogging all the limelight ever since rumours about his comeback to the small screen surfaced on the internet. The TV heartthrob will be returning the fiction space five months after his last show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 went off air. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see their favourite star in a different project ever since BALH 2 ended on Sony Entertainment Television.

RANDEEP RAI TV COMEBACK

Starring Randeep Rai and Niti Taylor, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 2 was pulled off air as the ratings didn't increase after the makers introduced a generation leap. While Randeep and Niti's chemistry captured the attention of the show, the TRPs somehow remained stagnant. Competition from IPL 2023 and other shows also affected BALH 2 but still, the romantic drama continued to have a decent viewership on the channel.

The production launched Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 in May 2023 and it received a similar response from the audience. Starring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar (the OG couple of BALH 2), it was a finite series.

"Sony TV pulled the plug on Bade Achhe 2 as the ratings fell after the generation leap was introduced. Considering the popular demand, the channel decided to bring back Nakuul and Disha in a different season," a source had earlier told Filmibeat.

RANDEEP RAI SHOW ON COLORS TV

According to the latest buzz, the Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hain Hai star will return to the fiction space son with Colors channel's upcoming show. He has reportedly signed the dotted lines for Ekta Kapoor's next, which is expected to replace Fahmaan Khan starrer DharamPatnii.

While Randeep will return to Colors TV after Balika Vadhu, Niharika Chouksey is rumoured to be playing the female lead opposite him. The actress, who worked in Pranali Rathod and Harshd Chopda starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was recently seen in Faltu.

Keeping up with the tradition of love triangles, Ekta Kapoor's new show will focus on two sisters and one guy. Randeep's charm is expected to work like magic.

RANDEEP RAI CHANGES NAME ON TWITTER

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Randeep has removed the alphabet A from his name on Facebook and Twitter (now known as X) profiles. Users shared the screenshot of the same on the micro-blogging site.

The Diya Aur Baati Hum actor has not revealed the reason behind removing the letter A from his name on social media handles excluding Instagram.
