Hi
Kijo
recently
recalled
a
horrifying
experience
on
the
casting
couch
that
she
faced
at
the
beginning
of
her
career.
Casting
couch
is
a
dark
reality
of
the
entertainment
world,
and
there
are
several
celebrities
who
have
faced
it
and
have
come
out
in
the
open
and
shared
their
stories.
The
latest
to
make
the
shocking
revelation
is
Ratan
Rajput.
While
Ratan
has
stayed
away
from
the
entertainment
world,
she
remains
active
through
her
Youtube
Vlogs.
RATAN
RAJPUT
REVEALS
SHE
FACED
CASTING
COUCH
During
an
interview
with
AajTak,
Ratan
shared
why
a
discussion
around
the
casting
couch
is
important.
Rajput
said,
"I
would
call
the
casting
couch
'neeyat'
(motive).
Even
during
the
#MeToo
movement,
I
had
never
really
spoken
about
the
casting
couch.
However,
we
must
talk
about
it
happening
in
the
(television)
industry.
I'm
on
YouTube,
and
I
get
a
lot
of
personal
emails,
especially
from
youngsters,
you
know
the
future
generation.
They
want
that
I
guide
them.
This
is
what
makes
me
feel
that
they
should
be
aware
of
the
truth.
They
should
not
feel
desperate.
Having
stated
that
the
entire
industry
is
not
bad
if
four
persons
among
them
have
done
something
wrong.
It
is
critical
to
understand
that
not
everyone
is
the
same.
You
should
only
need
to
know
how
to
filter
out."
Recalling
an
incident
from
her
early
days
in
the
showbiz
industry,
Ratan
Rajput
mentioned
that
auditions
back
then
were
held
at
a
hotel
in
Oshiwara.
"I
went
for
an
audition
there
and
saw
many
well-known
actors
there.
I
gave
my
audition
but
the
director
wasn't
present
there.
Some
coordinator
of
a
lower
level
took
my
audition
and
said,
"You
did
so
well
ma'am.
Sir
has
been
talking
only
about
you.
Aapka
hi
hoga." I
said
okay.
It
used
to
be
my
habit
that
I
would
never
go
alone.
I
had
a
friend
with
me
who
had
come
for
a
dance
audition.
Anyway,
that
coordinator
told
me
to
take
the
script
and
get
ready
for
a
meeting.
I
didn't
really
understand
what
was
going
on,"
she
revealed.
She
added
how
she
was
forced
to
have
a
cold
drink
at
the
auditions
and
said,
"They
repeatedly
insisted
us
to
have
a
cold
drink
and
we
took
a
sip
although
we
didn't
want
to.
They
then
said
that
they
would
call
me
for
another
audition.
After
returning
home
me
and
my
friend
felt
uneasy
and
we
doubted
if
something
was
mixed
in
the
cold
drink.".
She
further
revealed
she
along
with
a
friend
went
for
the
audition
in
Mhada
where
she
saw
clothes
thrown
here
and
there
and
a
girl
lying
unconscious.
She
added,
"I
sensed
that
whatever
was
supposed
to
happen
there
is
already
done.
Then
a
man
came
outside
and
rebuked
me
saying
why
have
I
come
with
my
boyfriend,
I
told
him
that
my
brother
was
accompanying
me.
Something
was
there
in
that
cold
drink
I
had
that
made
me
feel
out
of
control
even
when
I
was
conscious.
I
said
sorry
and
just
ran
away
from
there."
Expressing
her
deep
anguish,
the
Santoshi
Maa
actress
expressed
her
desire
to
confront
and
admonish
the
director
for
the
distressing
incident.
She
said
that
she
want
to
slap
the
person
responsible,
and
further
emphasized
that
the
individual
continues
to
hold
a
prominent
position
in
the
industry
to
this
day.
