Rita Maa Is An Inspiration: Fans After Late Sidharth Shukla's Mom Remembers Him With Smile In New Video

Sidharth Shukla was one of the most famous TV actors and he continues to rule the hearts of his die-hard fans. His untimely demise left everyone in shock. Among others, his fans' heart goes out for his mother, with whom the actor shared a special bond. Fondly called as 'Rita Maa', she has been an inspiration to many. On February 8, Sidharth Shukla's fans celebrated her birthday and #HBDRitaMaa trended big time on Twitter with countless tweets.

And today on Mahashivratri, Sidharth Shukla's mother is once again trending on Twitter. She seems to be an ardent follower of Brahma Kumaris and recently attended an event from where a video is going viral on social media. The video shows her thanking all the fans for the love she is receiving, and she credits all of it to her late son, while pointing towards the sky. While some fans have called her sukoon, some others called her an inspiration.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla once spoke about his mom to Humans of Bombay and said, "People know me as a man with a rough exterior. But I'll always melt for my mom. Right from the time I was born, she's been the most important person in my life. I was the youngest of 3 kids and too small to play with my sisters, so I was always around mom. Back when I was a toddler, I'd cry if I had to go a second without her-so even while making rotis, she'd hold me in one hand & the roller in another!"

He further added, "When dad passed away 15 years ago, it felt like the umbrella over us had been taken away. But my mom was our rock-she never showed any signs of vulnerability. Despite our poor finances, she ran the house, looked after 3 kids and fulfilled all our demands! I know now that she must've had to sacrifice so much to give us what we wanted."

For the initiated, actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021, following a cardiac arrest. The 40-year-old actor's funeral which took place the next day was attended by his several celebrity friends including Shehnaaz Gill and Asim Riaz. Sidharth was known for his work in TV shows like Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak and more. He went on to win reality shows, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Bigg Boss 13. Sidharth was also seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
