Sasural Simar Ka 2: Avinash Mukherjee & Radhika Muthukumar To Go Off Air; Last Episode To Air Next Week

Avinash Mukherjee and Radhika Muthukumar's popular show Sasural Simar Ka 2 has been the talk of the town since its inception. To note, the show was the second installment of Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim's popular show Sasural Simar Ka which was a massive hit. Interestingly, Sasural Simar Ka 2 came with an interesting storyline along with an impressive ensemble of cast. The family drama managed to win hearts since its inception. And after entertaining the audience for almost two years, Sasural Simar Ka 2 is going off air soon.

According to media reports, the show is coming to an end on April 7 this year. A source close to the show told Times of India that the climax sequence will be shot on April 4. "We are shooting the climax sequence and will wrap up the shoot on April 4. It has been a great journey. At a time when shows are shutting down in less than three months, we had a run of two years," the source had added. To note, the makers had even launched the supernatural angle in the story wherein Avinash was seen as a naag.

Avinash was quite excited about the supernatural angle and said that he is enjoying the part as it has a grey shade to it. While the new twist got a mixed response the makers decided to pull the curtains down for Sasural Simar Ka 2. "We felt the story has run its course and it was time to bid adieu. Also in the end everything boils down to the number game," the source had added.

While the cast is yet to react to the news of Sasural Simar Ka 2 going on air, it will certainly be an emotional moment for them. It is yet to be announced which show will be replacing the Avinash Mukherjee and Radhika Muthukumar starrer.
