He was 66. Tributes began pouring in for the veteran actor on social media and other platforms. Actress Sonali Naik, who is a popular name in the entertainment industry, also expressed her condolences over the demise of the actor.

Sonali, while exclusively talking to Filmibeat, got emotional as she mourned the demise of Satish Kaushik. She expressed her grief, stating that she was in tears when she got to know about the unfortunate enws.

Talking about the same, Sonali told us, "This is really a shocking and devastating piece of news. His untimely demise has left all of us in tears. He made us all laugh with his amazing comic timing and today we have lost a gem."

The Maddam Sir actress said that she was fond of Satish Kaushik's comic skills and timings and never missed any chance to watch his films. "I was so fond of his comedy and never missed a chance to watch his performance on-screen. Watching him on-screen as 'Calendar' in Mr. India was a treat for everyone. His laughter, positivity and humour will always be remembered. May God give strength to his family in this hour of grief," Sonali added.

The actress also took to Instagram and posted a picture of the late actor with the caption, "Ab kis se kahenge.... Calendar Khaana laao... May his soul rest in peace." Fans have flooded the comments section with their condolence messages.

On the work front, Sonali Naik was recently seen in Maddam Sir, where she played the role of Pushpa. The sitcom, which aired on Sony SAB, will soon return with a second season. The actress is known for her performances in shows like Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, Gathbandhan and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
