Shagun Singh On Doing Dipika Chikhlias Dharamputra Nandini

Dharamputra Nandini Update: Shagun Singh, known for her portrayal of Mauli in the television series Mast Mauli, has now joined the cast of the upcoming show Dharamputra Nandini. In this new venture, she will take on the lead role of Nandani. The show, being produced by Dipika Chikhlia, widely recognized for her memorable portrayal of Goddess Sita in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, is highly anticipated by the audience.

Speaking about her new show, Shagun said, "I'm happy to return back to entertain my audience playing the role of Nandani and I'm delighted about sharing screen space with Dipika ma'am. My role in the show will be interesting and hopefully audience will love the same way they did in past. It is the very first time I'll be sharing screen with Dipika ma'am. Knowing her is a dream come true for me. She is not only acting in the show but also producing it."

The actress known for starting her showbiz journey with TV reality show, India's Got Talent, and later participating in Super Dancer Chapter 2 says she always wanted to pursue dancing but destiny got her into acting.

She stated, "I always was interested in dancing. I also participated in shows on behalf of my dancing talent. Since my childhood, I have performed and learnt different dance form while travelling to different states. My parents understood my passion for dance and it was my mom who travelled along with me, she took me to Delhi, Kolkata to help me learn dance more professionally. I professionally learnt gymnastics, ballet, acrobatics and has also won 56 national prizes. But once we shifted to Mumbai from my hometown Chattisgarh, I was getting offers to play lead role in TV shows, and it was really exciting for me and I signed it. And that's how destiny got me into acting."

Shagun has gained recognition for her appearances in various television shows, including Balveer Returns and Ek Mahan Nayak Dr. BR Ambedkar, among others.
