TV Show Based On KGF: Jigyasa Singh, who first rose to fame after playing the titular role in Colors TV's Thapki Pyaar Ki in 2015, has come a long way in her career.
After a successful debut in a lead role, the actress went on to feature in several shows including Dev 2, and Nazar, among others, and became a household name after playing the lead role of a transgender named Heer in Rubina Dilaik's pathbreaking show Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
She was last seen playing the lead role in the second season of Thapki Pyaar Ki, The show went off-air last year and her fans are eagerly awaiting her comeback since then. Well, here comes a piece of great news for them.
JIGYASA SINGH TV COMEBACK WITH SHOW BASED ON KGF
According to the latest buzz, Jigyasa Singh has bagged an upcoming show inspired by Yash-starrer KGF alongside Siddharth Arora. Yes, you read that right!
Jigyasa Singh and Siddharth Arora have been reportedly chosen to play the lead couple in Rashmi Sharma's upcoming show, which is reportedly inspired by the Kannada-language period action film KGF. As per the ongoing rumours, the makers are in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes, "Jigyasa and Siddharth have been roped in for the show, and the rest of the casting is underway. Once everything is in place, the makers are hoping to commence the shoot by the middle or end of next month.
JIGYASA SINGH WAS LAST SEEN IN THAPKI 2
For the unversed, Jigyasa was forced to quit Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 last year due to her health issues. She tried her best to continue with the show, but eventually, she had to quit as she wasn't able to cope.
Siddharth Arora, on the other hand, is best known for playing the pivotal role of Beera Tilakdhari in Na Bole Hum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2. He was last seen in Baal Shiv - Mahadev Ki Andekhi Gatha. He has also appeared in several other shows like Doli Armaanon Ki, Mukti Bandhan, Meri Saasu Maa, and Laado - Veerpur ki Mardani.
