Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta were among the most talked about contestants in Bigg Boss 16. The duo had made headlines with their mushy chemistry and their love-hate relationships on the popular reality show. So far, a lot has been said and written about Shalin and Tina's bond.

While both Shalin and Tina have been at loggerheads and don't like seeing each eye to eye these days, there have been speculations if their equation was scripted. And now Shalin has finally opened up about the same and made a surprising statement.

During his recent interview with Mirchi Plus, Shalin was asked if Bigg Boss, his chemistry with Tina, etc was scripted. To this, the Bekaboo actor stated, "I wish it was scripted. It is not at all scripted. It is such an amazing show and amazing format. Hats off to the people who made this concept as it is one of the finest reality shows that can ever exit. And it is absolutely candid. The show revolves around people who nobody knows what they will do. If someone plans something it falls flat. Just Sadhguru says just be".

Interestingly, Shalin was quizzed about his favourite contestant among Tina, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Soundarya Sharma. To this, Shalin gave a smart reply and named Archana Gautam. He said, "I loved her. she could be so real. I didn't believe it when she was inside but now I know she was absolutely real".

As of now, Shalin Bhanot is busy shooting for his ongoing supernatural fantasy drama Bekaboo. The show also stars Eisha Singh in the lead and this marks her first collaboration with the former Bigg Boss 16 contestant. Talking about the show, Shalin had stated, "I am elated with gratitude in my heart towards the audience for accepting and appreciating my work in the show, which has motivated me to work hard and give my best".
