Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: Television actor and Tunisha Sharma's co-star Sheezan Khan was granted bail by the Vasai court in Mumbai on Saturday. Sheezan was arrested last year for alleged abetment of suicide and was in jail under judicial custody. Tunisha was found hanging on the sets of Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul on December 24, 2022.

Sheezan Khan's bail news came as a relief to his family. The actors' actress-sister Falaq Naaz wrote, 'Ahumdullilah' on Instagram stories while thanking god. During an interview with ETimes, Falaq Naaz said, "Sach ki jeet hui hai and we are certain that we will be granted relief from the High Court as well. We can't wait to see him and walk back home with us after 70 days. We are speechless."

Sheezan's another sister, Shafaq Naaz also reacted to the big news and was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times as, "It's finally big news. We are very happy this is what we have been waiting for."

Sheezan Khan's Lawyer Reacts To Actor's Bail

Meanwhile, Sheezan's lawyer, Shailendra Mishra revealed that the actor was granted a bail on surety of Rs 1,00,000. The lawyer said that they are in the process of complying with the terms and conditions set out by the court and hoped that Sheezan will be released today. He further added that the court has directed the actor not to tamper with the evidence or influence the complainant. He has also been advised not to travel without prior permission. Shailendra also said that the Ali Baba star has been directed to attend the trials regularly.

Talking about the case, Sheezan's lawyer said, "All I can say is that there is no evidence against him. This is just the beginning, and we will fight it out till the end. We are thankful to everyone who has supported us and more to those who fought tooth and nail against us because that's how we became stronger. Eventually, truth prevailed, and justice was served. He has been granted bail."

It is also reported that a case regarding the quashing of the FIR against Sheezan is scheduled for hearing in the High Court on March 9.
