Aradhana Sharma Update: Working towards fulfilling our ambition and dream is the most important aspect of our lives. While some individuals require time to discern their pursuits, others are acquainted with their heart's calling at a young age. Barsaatein actor Aradhana Sharma talks about how and when her love for showbiz developed.

"My journey in choosing a career stream was marked by a fascinating exploration of diverse paths, reflecting my curiosity and ambition. At first, I considered becoming a doctor. The idea of healing and making a tangible impact on people's lives appealed to my compassionate nature. Then being a patriotic person my vision shifted to becoming an IAS. The idea of being a part of the bureaucratic system and driving positive change at a governmental level intrigued you.

But I never thought of choosing acting or art as my career option because coming from a family that stresses more on academics, this idea seems to be impossible," she says.

Aradhana shares that her mother never stopped her from pursuing her interests. "She was the person who encouraged my artistic talents and supported me. But I would say it was my destiny that dragged me here and yes few of my family members were not quite the happy supporters but my mamma and sister were the only people who believed in me and my endeavours," she adds.

In today's time and age, societal pressure and competition are such that everyone wants to be at the top in their profession. This leads to a lot of stress.

"No doubt there is pressure and competition and unfortunately I have and still I go through that but I understood one thing that I cannot become the only star in the beautiful universe. I can be one of the stars but not the only star. So this thought made me focus on myself and on my growth. See just like me there are people who have come here for their dreams, name, fame and money. We need to understand that clearly. At the same time, I don't want to rush into things. I believe slowing down is a must. Slowing is not stopping, it's just you eat more, rest more, enjoy more, laugh more apart from those competitive times," she says.

So what's the biggest goal you want to achieve? "As the time flies, I understand that I feel good when people around me are also happy, so my biggest goal is to be a good human first and if I am a good human being, I can have everything, help people with everything and contribute as well. Being human is beautiful and the true meaning of being a human is to be sympathetic, empathetic and practical at the same time," she adds.
