Barsatein: Shivangi Joshi’s Per Episode Fees For Kushal Tandon’s Show BEATS Disha’s Remuneration For BALH 3

Shivangi Joshi, who has become a household name with her stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is all over the news these days courtesy of her new show Barsatein. Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, Barsatein happens to be a romance drama and also features Kushal Tandon in the lead.

The show marks Shivangi's first collaboration with Kushal and she is seen playing the role of a journalist in the show. Needless to say, Shivangi is winning hearts with her performance as Aradhana Sahni. And while Barsatein is making headlines with its interesting plot and the new jodi, did you know Shivangi is charging a whopping amount for her performance in Barsatein?

According to media reports, Shivangin is charging Rs 1.5 lakh or more per episode for her performance in Barsatein opposite Kushal Tandon. Though the official numbers are not out yet, if the reports turned out to be true, Shivangi has managed to beat Disha Parmar's remuneration for Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3.

For the uninitiated, Disha Parmar is reportedly charging around Rs 70K-80K per episode for her role as Priya in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 which also stars Nakuul Mehta in the lead.

Earlier, talking about her role, Shivangi told IANS, "Aradhana possesses a constant sparkle in her eyes and wants to make a mark in the field of journalism. Curious by nature, Aradhna is sharp and intelligent; yet despite seeing the red flags, she falls for the elusive Reyansh Lamba (played by Kushal) who is also her boss. It's an honour for me to play the role of a journalist. While researching for the character, one thing that I learnt is that journalism is one of the most challenging professions. To stay on their toes all the time and be updated about literally everything is quite a task".
