Shivangi Joshi Barsaatein: It's raining new shows on Indian television. Ekta Kapoor, who launched Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar, is now all set to bring a new story on Sony Entertainment Television. Featuring Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon, the show will be different than the run-of-the-mill daily soaps.

Filmibeat was the first portal to inform you about Shivangi Joshi being confirmed for Barsatein as Ekta Kapoor liked her cameo in Bekaboo. After her stint with Eisha Singh and Shalin Bhanot's show ended, the TV Czarina approached her for Sony TV show.

BARSAATEIN LAUNCH DATE, TIME SLOT

While a report in India Forums suggested that the show will launch on June 19, 2023, Filmibeat had exclusively reported that Shivangi-Kushal's drama will hit the airwaves in June end or the first week of July. The promo shoot for the show has been completed and now, the makers are gearing up for its grand premiere.

SHIVANGI JOSHI GIVES BIG UPDATE ABOUT BARSAATEIN

TV's Naira shared a spicy update about the storyline while talking to a leading daily. She revealed that the story will revolve around how girls end up falling for boys who break their hearts. Talking about Kushal Tandon's character, Shivangi told Bombay Times that Reyansh is a not bad person but he has the tendency to break hearts.

The TV diva opened up about working with Kushal and her chemistry with the Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai star. She called their pairing a 'unique jodi' as she reacted to fans praising their sizzling chemistry in the promo.

"It's a very unique jodi. Humne kabhin expect nahi kiya tha ye jodi. Pyaar ka mausam hai and hamara show bhi isi pe based hai. My character Aaradha is a journalist, who works under Reyansh. She is opinionated and strong-headed. She is passionate about her work. It's a love story and viewers will enjoy it," the Balika Vadhu actress told Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan.
