After Katha Ankahee, More Sony TV Shows To Go OFF-AIR; 4 New Shows To Premiere In January

New Sony TV Shows: Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is known for its shows with unique concepts and relatable characters. Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma-starrer Katha Ankahee recently went off-air after a run of one year. The show received rave reviews from its loyal viewers and KaViaan fans have been missing seeing them on TV for the past few years.

Just two days after Katha Ankahee went off-air, the latest reports suggest that more Sony TV shows are likely to end next month as the channel has an interesting line-up of shows belonging to diverse genres. Starting with the much-hyped mythological drama titled Shrimad Ramayana, it is confirmed to be launched in January.

Sujay Reu, Prachi Bansal, and Basant Bhatt have been roped in to play the lead roles in Shrimad Ramayana. Produced by Swastik Productions, the mytho-series is set to take the 9 pm slot. This means, the show is set to take replace Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 10.

Besides Shrimad Ramayana, popular producer JD Majethia is reportedly coming up with a new show on Sony TV featuring Zaan Khan and Meera Deosthale. While the official announcement is still awaited from the channel, fans are looking forward to witnessing their fresh pairing in the upcoming drama.

Known for helming Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai for Sony TV, Shashi Sumeet Productions is said to be reuniting with the channel for another show. Starring Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Shehzad Shaikh and Shruti Anand, the reported drama is likely to take the time slot of 9:30 pm. Besides these two series', Sony TV is planning for the new season of Crime Petrol.

While we await the final confirmation from the channel, let's wait and see if the new shows will be able to make their mark or not.
