Shalin Bhanot has been one of the most talked about contestants of Bigg Boss 16 who managed to leave a mark on the audience with his stunning journey on the show. From his bonds to his fight for chicken, bonds in the house and more, everything about Shalin's stint grabbed the eyeballs.

Amid this, Shalin's equation with Tina Datta's arch rivals Sreejita De also became the talk of the town. The two, who had their share of arguments initially, ended up becoming good friends and their bonds left everyone in awe. And now that it's been months since Bigg Boss 16 ended and fans have been inquisitive about Shalin and Sreejita's bond after the show.

And now, we have got our hands on one of Sreejita's interviews with ETimes wherein the actress said that she and Shalin are great friends post Bigg Boss 16. "Shalin ke saath mera filhaal abhi jo bond hai wo bahut strong hai. Infact, ghar ke andar jo bond tha usse bhi zyada strong bond ho chuka hai. Starting me wo banda mujhe actually samajh ni aaya, jo audience ko bhi laga tha ki wo fake hai and acting karta hai, wo mujhe baad me samajh aaya ki wo banda aisa hi hai. He is sometimes too unreal to be real. Uska alag ek film world chalta rehta hai jahan pe wo Shah Rukh Khan hai, jahan pe wo sheeshe me baat karta rehta hai, but in reality also he is like that and he is a very good person by heart jo mujhe baad me dheere dheere samajh aaya. And we are really good friends now," she stated.

Meanwhile, as Sreejita is currently gearing up for her wedding with beau Michael, she stated that Shalin Bhanot and Priyanka Choudhary have assured her about attending her wedding in Germany. To note, Sreejita-Michael will be tying the knot in July as per Bengali tradition which will be followed by a wedding as per German rituals.
