It all started when Tabish Pasha shared a post on social media, confirming that the two Imlie co-stars won't work together in his music video. He revealed that he tried his best to bring the duo for the project, but things couldn't materialize. Soon, controversy followed as gossip mills suggested that Sumbul's father didn't allow her to take up the song.
Sumbul, who usually refrains from commenting on any controversy, had to issue a statement on Instagram. She clarified that her dad never stopped her from accepting the offer, adding that one should not drag her family members into the matter.
While Sumbul is busy enjoying a vacation in Ooty. Her fans expressed their displeasure over the Tabish Pasha's reply to Fahmaan Khan's tweet. They trolled the singer, calling him for out for allegedly 'creating controversy'.

Fahmaan Khan, who earlier squashed the rumours of a tiff with Sumbul Touqeer, posted a tweet that read, "All that matters is simplicity and love. His tweet captured the attention of the netizens, who wondered if things were fine between him and Sumbul.
Contrary to the baseless rumours, the duo maintains a strong friendship and has immense respect for each other. The DharamPatnii actor even confirmed that there's no tussle between him and Sumbul Touqeer Khan.
Tabish Pasha Replies To Fahmaan Khan's Tweet, Gets Trolled
Tabish, who also collaborated with Fahmaan for a project, got brutally trolled for responding to his tweet. The singer wrote, "Haha yeh kaafi cool tha, sach kitna thrilling toh hota hai, then why lie." However, fans started believing that he was taking a dig at Sumbul Touqeer.
One user tweeted, "when U try to pull down someone first U have to bend down to pull other . Physical try to pull ur friend U will know. As for parents u might have been bought by both mom & dad , a single parent doing both the duties U can't describe in you song nor imagine." Another user said accused Tabish of being 'unprofessional', stating that he didn't behave in a dignified manner and let the rumours spread on the internet.
When Sumbul Touqeer REACTED To Rumours About Her Dad
Last week, Sumbul Touqeer refuted the rumours about her dad not allowing her to do a music video. She confirmed that she is supposed to shoot her own music video and hence, she gave priority to her project over Tabish's song.
"Hey guys, sabse phele to mujhe aise videos banane ka man nahi karta. Jab sab log clarification de rahe hai, to main bhi de deti hu. Ek clarity deni tha- Mera aur Fahmaan ka gaana meri taraf se aana wala tha, jiska shoot 19th ko. Humne ek well-known singer ka gaana liya tha and Tabish ke gaane ko priority nahi diya tha. Isliye itna confusion create hua and meri family pe baatein aayi. Vo sunne mushkil. Gaana abhi shoot hona hai. Kuch logo ne backout kardiya, apni dosti nibhana rahe hai. Please yahi bolna tha ki family isme involved nahi hai, unko mat ghaseeto yaar," the Bigg Boss 16 contestant said.
On The Work Front
Sumbul Touqeer is in talks with a few production houses for their upcoming projects. If the recent buzz is to be believed, she might sign a big-ticket show that will go on air after the culmination of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2023. There's no official confirmation about the same. The actress will be seen in a cameo in Dear Ishq that beams on Disney+Hotstar.
