Sumbul, who attended the International Iconic Awards 2023, confirmed that her father is remarrying. She expressed her excitement on welcoming her stepmom and her daughter to her family.

As Touqeer Khan wanted only a low-key ceremony, only selected guests have been invited for the wedding. He didn't wish to have 'too much focus' on his special day, the report added.

Sumbul, who is fondly known for her role in Imlie, credited her 'Bade Papa' for playing a significant role in fixing her father's match with Nilofer. Interestingly, her dad claimed that the actress and her younger sister Saniya have been trying to convince him to remarry since the past ten years.
