WHEN WILL SUMBUL TOUQEER START SHOOT OF KAVYA?

Sumbul Touqeer Khan shot for the promo of her new show, which will air on Sony Entertainment Television. It is said to be released before the end of this month. Interestingly, the TV diva is said to be starting the shoot for the drama soon.

Speculations are rife that Sumbul's new show will replace Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, which stars Tina Datta and Jay Bhanushali in lead roles. The daily soap is not performing as per expectations and is said to be under the scanner.

A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Sumbul Touqeer's upcoming show will be the next big launch on Sony TV. The show is expected to get a prime time slot on the leading channel. The higher-ups have not finalised a time slot or launch date for the drama. The channel has not taken a decision on Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum which is struggling to gain TRPs."

"Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 is expected to replace Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum from next month. Sumbul's drama most probably will beam at 8:30 or 10pm slot. Katha Ankahee is doing well for Sony TV and I don't think it will end so soon," the source added.

SUMBUL TOUQEER'S FIRST LOOK FROM KAYYA SHOW

The first look of the Bigg Boss 16 contestant from her upcoming show has been leaked online. Guess what? Sumbul Touqeer is playing the role of an IAS officer named Kavya. Her character will be married to an IPS officer and the storyline will focus on the relationship between the two civil servants. How Kavya makes sacrifices for her career and values after the marriage will form the crux of the story.

After the viral picture grabbed eyeballs, the casting head of DJ Creative Unit confirmed it is from a look test of Kavya.

Vinamrata Bhojwani, who describes her profile as the ' Casting Head, content development, DJ's A Creative Unit Production House', revealed that the show is coming soon when a fan asked her about the look test. Check out the tweet!
