Sumbul Touqeer Khan is a name that doesn't need an introduction. She has been one of the most loved actresses in the telly world and enjoys a massive fan following. Her stint in Bigg Boss 16 made her a household name wherein she won hearts with her innocence and simplicity. For the uninitiated, Sumbul made her debut in 2014 with Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma starrer Jodha Akbar which was a historical drama. She was seen playing the role of Mehtab in the show. Talking about her first salary, the actress revealed that she got a pay cheque of around Rs 7-8 thousand. Well, clearly the actress has come a long way in her career. From earning Rs 7-8 thousand as her first salary to reportedly being the highest paid contestant on Bigg Boss 16 with a fee of Rs 12 lakhs per week.

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Sumbul was reportedly approached for Ekta Kapoor's much awaited show Naagin 7. However, the actress has clarified that she is not a part of the supernatural drama. Besides, Sumbul grabbed the headlines over her controversy with Tabish Pasha regarding a song with Fahmaan Khan. While Tabish claimed that it was Sumbul's father who had objected to the trio's collaboration, the Imlie actress had clarified that she will be collaborating with the Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii actor in a music video which will be directed by Atif Khan. Besides, gossipmills were also abuzz about Sumbul entering Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharampatnii. However, the actress had rubbished the news.
