Bigg Boss 16 managed to grab a lot of eyeballs for its interesting ensemble of contestants. And among all the contestants, it was Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqeer Khan made headlines for their love-hate relationship. The two contestants, who were touted to be the BFFs initially, ended up becoming arch rivals after Sumbul's father gave her a call on the show and were often seen locking horns post that.

And while Bigg Boss 16 has come to an end, the equations between the contestants have changed outside BB house. Amid this, Shalin Bhanot made heads turn after he expressed his wish to work with Sumbul. In his interview with Faridoon Shahryar, Shalin stated that Sumbul and he would make a great cast for a dance fiction show.

While his remarks grabbed the eyeballs, Sumbul has now reacted to Shalin's desire to work with her. During her recent interaction with media at the Global Excellence Awards 2023, when Sumbul was quizzed about Shalin's statement, she said, "I have no idea. Ab mujhe sochne me time lagega ki answer kya dena hai kyunki mujhe nahi malum. mujhe kuch ni bolna".

For the uninitiated, Sumbul had made headlines furing her stint on Bigg Boss 16 for her proximity with Shalin. Talking about it, the actress stated, "I was very hurt because I never expected that. I've always given 1000 per cent to every friendship and woh main kabhi Isliye nahi karti ki mujhe badle mein kuch milega. Meri dosti mere nazron mein bahot selfless hoti hai. I love doing that. Even if I cook food for them or hang their clothes or anything else, usse mujhe khushi milti hai. So woh ek dosti ko itna galat naam mila".

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Sumbul is currently seen in Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Punit J Pathak's Entertainment Ki Raat Housefull along with Fahmaan Khan, Archana Gautam, Rashami Desai others. On the other hand, Shalin Bhanot is currently playing the lead role in Bekaboo opposite Eisha Singh.
