Sumbul Touqeer’s Imlie Co-Star Calls Her An ‘Inspiration’ For Buying Her Own House, Says ‘Struggle Is Worth..'

Sumbul Touqeer Khan, who made her acting debut as a child artist in 2011 with Chandragupta Maurya, has come a long way in her career. After featuring in several shows, she finally rose to fame after playing the lead role in Star Plus' Imlie co-starring Fahmaan Khan.

Last year, she left the hit series after the makers decided to introduce a generation leap and entered Colors TV's controversial reality show Bigg Boss 16 in October. Her journey was full of ups and downs, however, she came out stronger and fans loved her real personality.

During her stint, in BB 16 house, Sumbul created history by becoming the youngest contestant who stayed for over 100 days on the show. Bigg Boss 16 made her a household name and her fans are eagerly waiting to know details about her next project.

Amid all this, Sumbul achieved a new milestone by buying her own house in Mumbai at the age of just 19. Yes, you read that right! She recently hosted a housewarming party for her friends including Shiv Thakare, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, among others.

Mayuri Deshmukh, her Imlie co-star, too was among the other attendees. In a recent interview, the actress talked about Sumbul's new house. For the unversed, Mayuri and Sumbul have known each other for over two years now. Mayuri knows about the hardships Sumbul faces and is proud of her growth in the last one year. According to her, getting a house is a material thing but Sumbul deserves appreciation for doing it all by herself.

Calling her an 'inspiration', Mayuri told India Forums, "I told her when I met her that all that she went through, all the struggle is worth it, because look at what you've achieved. I genuinely don't have enough words to express how I feel about her achievements. I hope, wish and pray that she keeps growing like this and continues to be an inspiration. Lots and lots of love and luck to her."
