Sawa 3 Mahine Se...: After Shailesh Lodha, Jennifer Mistry Accuses Taarak Mehta Producer Of Non-payment Of Due

TMKOC controversy: Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal set several tongues wagging when she accused Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit and two others from the production house of sexual harassment. She filed a complaint against the three after quitting the sitcom. After being a part of TMKOC for several years, she left the show, citing 'insult and humiliation' as the reasons.

Jennifer, who played the role of Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, shot for the last episode of the show on March 6. She alleged that things got complicated on March 7 on her wedding anniversary. She stated that the executive producer attempted to stop her car, not allowing her to leave the show set.

JENNIFER MISTRY BANSIWAL'S ALLEGATIONS AGAINST ASIT MODI

Jennifer Mistry, in an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, revealed that she has not received the payment for the last three-and-a-half months from the makers. After Shailesh Lodha, she accused Asit Kumarr Modi of non-payment of dues, revealing why she spoke up about the matter after few months.

The actress claimed that the production house accused her of 'exorting' money from them. She said that she didn't ask the money from the makers. Bansiwal added that she was quiet for the past few months but she was 'constantly attacked' and had to 'defend' herself.

NON-PAYMENT OF DUES

"Sawa teen mahine se paise mile nahi hain, Maine maange bhi nahi hai. Maine unko bola meri taraf se daan rakho, Neela Telefilms bahut gareeb hai. When my lawyer asked me why I didn't speak up on time, I said- Nahi himmat hoti, usse mera ghar chalta hai. He suggested me- Bolna padega. The truth will come out eventually," Jennifer exclusively told Filmibeat.

Jennifer concluded by saying that she has filed an FIR against Asit Modi and now, she will do whatever her lawyer recommends her.
