TMKOC’s Producer Asit Kumarr Modi On Replacing Disha Vakani & Dayaben’s Return: It Is Impossible….

Dilip Joshi starrer Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah has been one of the most loved sitcoms on Indian television and there are no second thoughts about it. The show has been ruling the Indian television for almost 15 years and has been a massive hit among the fans. While every character on the show has a different fan following, Dayaben's character has managed to generate a different fan base. The character was played by Disha Vakani and fans still can't get over her personality as Daya.

And while it's been around four years since Disha has left the show, there have been continuous speculations about her return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Needless to say, fans have been yearning to have Dayaben back on the show. Talking about the same, producer Asit Kumarr Modi stated that the team is looking forward to a new Dayaben. He stated that while is it almost impossible to replace Disha, he is looking forward to finding an actress who can impress the audience with her style.

"I am looking for new Daya Bhabhi. It is not easy to play the role of Dayaben. Everyone knows the way Disha Vakani did it. Even today, she is missed. It is not easy to find a new person for the role. This does not mean I am afraid. I am not afraid but I am looking for perfection. It is impossible to take Disha's place. Her performance was great but I am finding somebody who can impress everyone with her style. It takes time but we will have Dayaben back soon," a source was quoted saying to Telly Chakkar.

Meanwhile, Modi plans to create a TMKOC universe which will include games with comic elements like Popatlal Ki Shaadi and an animated movie. "We want to make TMKOC like a mall. There will be everything," he added.
