TMKOC’s Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Demands Apology From Asit Modi; Says ‘I Am Doing This Only For…’

It's been a couple of days since Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal accused Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Modi of sexual harassment, the actress has now issued a fresh statement demanding an apology from him.

This happened after her allegations against Asit Modi left everyone shocked and brimming with an opinion. While TMKOC's direction team and Mandar Chandwadkar dismissed Jennifer's claims, the actress has been standing strong with her allegations.

And now, Jennifer, who played the role of Roshan Sodhi, has released a fresh statement and said that she is demanding apology from Asit Modi. The actress also clarified saying that she is doing it for her dignity and not for money.

"One most important thing- I am not doing this for money; I am doing this only for truth and victory. They have to accept that they have done wrong to me and will have to apologise with folded hands that 'We are sorry'. Because this is the matter of my dignity and self-respect," Jennifer told ANI.

She further explained that she never had any physical relationship with Asit Modi. "I want to say that there is nothing like that. He just said verbal things to me," she added.

Meanwhile, Asit Modi called the allegations baseless and said that he will be taking legal action against Jennifer. On the other hand, the direction team team claimed that Jennifer was indisciplined and lacked focus. They also alleged that Jennifer was abusive on the sets and even damaged the property on sets while driving her car rashly as she stormed out.

Apart from sexual harassment, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal also alleged that she hasn't received her payment for over three months now. She also claimed that while everyone has been questioning her for not speaking up for so long, Jennifer asserted that it does take a lot of courage to speak up.
