TMKOC controversy: Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal aka Roshan Sodhi from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been hogging all the limelight ever since she accused the makers of the show of sexual harassment. She filed a complaint against Asit Modi and two others from the production house, making serious allegations against them.

ASIT MODI TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST JENNIFER MISTRY

The actress set several tongues wagging when she claimed that Asit Modi had made sexual advances towards her in the past. She cited 'humiliation and insult' as the reasons for quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. While she maintained that she shot for her last episode on March 6 after getting insulted on the set, the production house stated that she lacked discipline and didn't focus on work.

"We will take legal action as she is trying to defame me and the show both. Since we terminated her services , she is making these baseless allegations," Asit Kumarr Modi said in a statement.

JENNIFER MISTRY MESSAGE TO ASIT MODI

A day after accusing Asit Kumarr Modi of sexual harassment, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal shared a video, giving a stern message to him. She expressed her thoughts after the producer threatened to file a defamation suit against her.

"Chuppi ko meri kamzori mat samajhana, main chup thi kyunki saleekha hain mujh mein. Khud gawah hai ki sach kya hai. Yaad rakh, uske ghar mein koi fark nhi tujhme aur mujhme," she said in her video, which is now going viral on the internet.

Translation- (Don't consider my silence as weakness. I was silent as I wanted to. The almighty knows the truth and don't forget that everyone is equal in front of him.)

Jennifer, in an exclusive interview with Filmibeat, accused Asit Modi of non-payment of dues. She stated that the production house has not cleared her dues of the last three-and-a-half months.

"Sawa teen mahine se paise mile nahi hain, Maine maange bhi nahi hai. Maine unko bola meri taraf se daan rakho, Neela Telefilms bahut gareeb hai. When my lawyer asked me why I didn't speak up on time, I said- Nahi himmat hoti, usse mera ghar chalta hai. He suggested me- Bolna padega. The truth will come out eventually," Jennifer exclusively told Filmibeat.
