Celebrating 15 years of success earlier this year, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to maintain a strong presence in TRP ratings, despite key cast members leaving the show for various reasons. One of them was actress Jennifer Mistry who essayed the pivotal role of Roshan Sodhi aka Roshan Bhabhi in the much-loved sitcom.

MONAZ MEVAWALLA REPLACES JENNIFER MISTRY AS ROSHAN

For those who are unaware, Jennifer's exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah turned out to be a huge controversy earlier this year as she accused Asit Modi of unprofessionalism and harassment. Several months after her exit, the makers of TMKOC have finally found her replacement and have signed Monaz Mevawalla to essay the part. Yes, you read that right!

Confirming the same, Asit Modi told ETimes, "We are delighted to have Monaz Mevawalla. Her talent and passion for acting will undoubtedly add a new dimension to the character and the show. We welcome her wholeheartedly to the TMKOC family. Her portrayal is anticipated to bring a new dimension to the already beloved series, captivating audiences with her performance."

Expressing her excitement on bagging the role of Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Monaz stated, "I am thrilled and proud to be part of the TMKOC family.
