TMKOC: New Tapu AKA Nitish Bhaluni Talks About Advice He Received From Dilip Joshi On How To Deal With Trolls

SAB channel's popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has once again made headlines with the announcement of Nitish Bhaluni as the new Tapu. The leader of Tapu Sena is set to make a comeback with this casting decision. Previously, Raj Anadkat played the role of Tapu in the show and was the predecessor of Bhavya Gandhi. In a recent interview, Nitish shared details on how he landed the role and the advice he received from Dilip Joshi, who plays the character of a Gujarati businessman named Jethalal Gada in the show.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been hogging headlines for the past few days after the departure of Raj Anadkat. Following his announcement that his association with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has ended, fans were speculating as to who will play the new Tapu in the show. The arrival of Nitish Bhaluni as the new Tapu, however, has put an end to the rumours.

NITISH BHALUNI ON ADVICE HE RECEIVED FROM DILIP JOSHI

Nitish Bhaluni then spoke about his interaction with Dilip Joshi and one piece of advice he gave him. "On my first day, he told me that I will have to learn to improvise very closely. He also adviced me to stay in the moment for my character Tapu. Sir told me, 'Listening is very important because if you think that you are saying the line in a rehearsed manner, the reaction won't be natural. You will have to respond after listening. You are learning right now and even the audience won't judge you. It is up to you how you will tackle this. You only focus on the love that you will be receiving from the audience and not on the trolls that you will be getting."

NITISH BHALUNI ON HIS AUDITION FOR TAPU'S ROLE

Nitish Bhaluni, who will now be playing the role of Tapu in TMKOC, recalled his auditions and said that it was a smooth process. Meanwhile, he also revealed that he had met the production designer of the show and was fortunate enough to land the second audition.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Nitish said, "Next, I met Asit Modi sir for a meeting but there were other boys also in the queue for it. I was praying to get one meeting with Asit sir. After the meeting they made me sit separately in a conference room, and in the evening around 8:00 PM, I met Neela ma'am and then again I did a mock test with Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar) uncle and the entire Tapu Sena." Further, he said after his mock tests, his parents were called from Shimla for a meeting.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is television's longest-running comedy show, and over the past few years, several characters have been replaced and recast on the show. Nitish Bhaluni will be the third Tapu in TMKOC.
