The sitcom became a huge success and is counted among the longest-running shows on TV thanks to endearing characters and relatable yet funny situations.

While the makers have been introducing regular twists to make the long-running show interesting and entertaining for the loyal audience, the ongoing speculations suggested that TMKOC is likely to end in the coming months.

We're saying so because a Tellychakkar report states that the much-loved sitcom isn't ending and is here to stay. Yes, you read that right! However, an official statement on the same from the makers' side is still awaited.
THE CURIOUS CASE OF DAYABEN'S COMEBACK IN TMKOC
For those who are unaware, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been grabbing eyeballs lately for the wrong reasons. Initially, the controversial exits of Sailesh Lodha and Jennifer Mistry made headlines and most recently, netizens expressed their anger by trending 'boycott TMKOC' on X (earlier known as Twitter). Interestingly, the makers had hinted at Disha Vakani aka Dayaben's comeback during Diwali celebrations.
However, in one of the recent episodes, it was revealed that Dayaben isn't returning to Gokuldham society as of now. This irked the fans of TMKOC who were eagerly awaiting her comeback. Fans then took to social media and asked the makers to apologise to them. So far, the team hasn't reacted to the outrage.
