Naagin 6: Makers Put Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actor’s Track On HOLD, Will Now Enter Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal

Naagin 6 Update: Colors TV's supernatural drama, featuring Tejasswi Prakash and produced by Ekta Kapoor, got another extension last month after which there were speculations that several new characters will enter after a leap.

Best known for his role in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, actor Gultesham was also roped in to play a pivotal role in the sixth season of Naagin. The actor even confirmed that he'll be playing the character of a positive naag in the hit show.

GULTESHAM WILL NOT BE A PART OF TEJASSWI PRAKASH'S NAAGIN 6

While Gultesham had been eagerly waiting to enter Naagin 6 as a positive naag, unfortunately, the producers have decided to put his appearance in the current season on hold and might introduce him in the next season instead. Yes, you read that right!

Confirming the same, the actor informed ETimes, "Yes, they have put my track on hold and will rope me in for Naagin 7, which is expected to hit the tube three months later. I am not sure whether the track narrated to me will be altered."

GULTESHAM BAGS A ROLE IN KARAN KUNDRRA'S TERE ISHQ MEIN GHAYAL

As there's still no clarity about Naagin 7, Gultesham has now bagged a pivotal role in Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Sheikh's newly-launched Colors show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.

He'll be seen playing the character of Kartik who'll be a werewolf. While he was cast as a positive naag in Naagin 6, the actor will now portray a negative character in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal.

Talking about it, he added, "I am happy. Bhediya banne mein jo maza hai woh insaan banne mein kahaan hai (laughs!). I have never played such a character. What makes it even more interesting is that it is loosely based on the cult show, The Vampire Diaries."

Gultesham is looking forward to his stint in the show and is preparing himself for a fight sequence with Karan Kundrra.
