Tere
Ish
Mein
Ghayal
Update:
After
a
long
wait,
Karan
Kundrra,
Reem
Shaikh,
and
Gashmeer
Mahajani's
supernatural
show
premiered
on
Colors
TV
in
February
this
year
amid
huge
buzz
and
expectations.
Said
to
be
inspired
by
the
popular
international
series,
The
Vampire
Diaries,
Tere
Ishq
Mein
Ghayal
is
produced
by
Yash
A
Patnaik
and
Mamta
Patnaik
under
the
banner
of
Beyond
Dreams
Entertainment
and
Inspire
Films.
The
supernatural
thriller
was
always
supposed
to
be
a
finite
series
and
the
latest
reports
suggested
that
the
show
is
now
all
set
to
bid
adieu
in
June.
REEM
SHAIKH
CONFIRMS
TERE
ISHQ
MEIN
GHAYAL
IS
GOING
OFF-AIR
Tere
Ishq
Mein
Ghayal
lead
actress
Reem
Shaikh
has
now
confirmed
that
the
show
is
indeed
ending.
Interestingly,
she
also
opened
up
about
its
failure
on
the
TRP
front
and
stated
that
the
team
did
their
best.
Talking
about
it,
Reem
Shaikh
told
ETimes,
"We
all
knew
that
it
was
a
52-episodes
finite
show
from
the
beginning.
The
show
did
well
on
the
channel's
online
platform,
and
we
put
in
our
best.
The
entire
team
worked
hard.
It
is
okay
if
a
show
was
not
able
to
connect
with
the
TV
audience,
we
win
some
and
lose
some."
For
the
unversed,
Tere
Ishq
Mein
Ghayal
underperformed
on
the
TRP
charts
despite
featuring
big
names
from
the
TV
industry.
Sadly,
it
struggled
to
cross
ever
the
1.0
mark
despite
getting
love
from
the
loyal
viewers.
REEM
SHAIKH
ON
COMPARISONS
OF
TIMG
WITH
THE
VAMPIRE
DIARIES
On
comparisons
with
The
Vampire
Diaries,
she
added,
"It
may
seem
so,
but
I
am
happy
as
long
as
people
enjoy
watching
the
show."
Well,
the
loyal
fans
indeed
enjoyed
watching
the
desi
Vampire
Diaries.
So
farm
Karan
and
Gashmeer
haven't
reacted
to
the
show
ending
soon.
