In recent years, Tejasswi Prakash has enthralled fans with her appearances in shows like Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, and Bigg Boss 15, among others. It was during the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15 in February 2022 that she was unveiled as the new naagin of Naagin 6, further adding to her repertoire of diverse roles and captivating the audience with her talent.

Well, Tejasswi Prakash's journey took an unexpected turn when her show Pehredaar Piya Ki became a topic of widespread discussion due to its controversial content. A section of TV viewers, even called it cringe.
In the series, Tejasswi was paired opposite child actor Affan Khan, which sparked objections from the audience as her character was depicted marrying a 9-year-old boy. As a result, the makers had no choice but to discontinue the show.

However, Pehredaar Piya Ki made a comeback after a significant time leap, with the male actor's character transitioning into his teenage years. The show's extension was titled Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya and Rohit Suchanti essayed the lead role opposite Tejasswi.
Back in 2020, when the film was announced, Tejasswi revealed the same and told ETimes, "The content was bashed but people were like, 'Who's that girl'. That's how I got Rohit Shetty's film. I didn't receive any backlash. The film happened after Pehredaar Piya Ki. So in a way all the hype helped me. It opened a lot many doors for me."
Well, the actress got a great response for her performance in School College Ani Life.
