Tina Datta, who became a household name with her stint in Uttaran, has been often grabbing eyeballs for her rumoured tiff with Rashami Desai. For the uninitiated, Tina Datta played the protagonist in Uttaran while Rashami was the antagonist. As the show won millions of hearts, there have been reports about a massive fallout between Tina and Rashami.

According to media reports, Tina and Rashami have been arch rivals and that they continue to be at loggerheads even years after the show went off air. And now, Tina Datta has finally cleared the air about her rumoured tiff with Rashami and said that the reports off their fallout was baseless.

This happened during her recent interview with Bollywood Bubble. Tina stated, "Me and Rashami are actually very good friends. But when you are doing a daily soap where you are portraying a grey character and I am the positive lead in the show, there tend to happen ki jab hum scene kar rahe hain aur us mood me hain because as an actor you have to be in your character, you can't be a robot. So, you are in that character, you are in that mind frame, you are in that zone, so logon ko aisa lagta tha 'Oh my God, Rashami aur Tina ka jhaga chal raha hai'. Halanki aisa kabhi bhi kuch bhi nahi tha. And right now also we are great friends and she is my neighbour. We stay in the same society. When your show is successful, rumours tend to flow and gone are those days when people didn't have a great PR where you can dilute the news or probably tell out to the media that this isn't what exactly has happened, your point of view and your side of the story. Abhi things are much more easier and pleasant,"

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Tina is currently playing the lead in Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum opposite Jay Soni. The show marks Tina's first collaboration with Jay and their chemistry has been grabbing eyeballs.
