TMKOC’s Asit Kumarr Modi Calls Jennifer Mistry’s Allegations Baseless; Team Reveals Real Reason For Her Exit

In what came as a shocking piece of news from the telly world, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal announced her exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after being associated with the show for 15 years. In fact, the actress sparked a controversy in the town after she accused TMKOC producer Asit Kumarr Modi of sexual harassment.

For the uninitiated, Jennifer claimed that Asit Modi had made sexual advances to her several times in the past. She asserted that she was even forcefully stopped on the sets and was not allowed to go out. While she had even sent a mail to authorities a month ago, she continues to wait for their reply.

And now, producer Asit Kumarr Modi has reacted to Jennifer's claims and called them baseless allegations. He stated, "We will take legal action as she is trying to defame me and the show both. Since we terminated her services, she is making these baseless allegations".

On the other hand, the direction team of Harshad Joshi, Rushi Dave, and Arman went on to reveal the real reason behind Jennifer's exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and claimed that she was indisciplined on the sets and even lacked focus towards her work.

The direction team also alleged that Jennifer was abusive on the sets, misbehaved with the team and left the sets without completing the shoot. This isn't all. The team further claimed that Jennider damaged the set's property by her rash driving while storming out of the sets.

Clearly, Jennifer's claims have left everyone shocked. However, this isn't the first time an actor had made allegations against Asit Kumarr Modi. Earlier, Shailesh Lodha, who played the role of Taarak Mehta in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had also accused the producer of non payment for his work in the show post his exit.
