Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Sexual Harassment Case: Popular for playing the role of Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in the famous SAB TV sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal has accused the makers of the show of sexual harassment and not paying her dues.

The actress, who worked on TMKOC for the past 15 years, recently revealed that she has quit the show and shared that she was sexually harassed by the show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, which led to her leaving the show.

Jennifer's heartbreaking allegations have left the entire television industry in shock. Mistry has also named the show's project head, Sohail Ramani, and creative head, Jatin Bajaj, for treating her badly.

Though Asit Kumarr Modi and others have refuted her allegations, Jennifer, while speaking exclusively to Filmibeat, said that all her Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah co-stars knew about the harassment and added that everybody has been facing something or other.

JENNIFER MISTRY ON RECEIVING FAMILY SUPPORT

While speaking to Filmibeat, Jennifer was asked if her family has been supporting her during these tough times and in her fight. The actress said, "Of course, 100% kar rahe hai. Because of my husband, he was the first one to support me. Unhone mujhe bola ki abhi shoot chod ke ajao ghar."

She then added, "Maine kaha, yeh log mere sade teen mahine ke paise ruk lenge. Toh unhone bola rukne do. Maine bola ki woh log mujhe replace kar denge, toh mere husband ne bola karne do. He asked me, "Are you finding peace there? Tumhare liye kya important hai, peace and happiness, or paise? He then questioned me if I was happy working there, and I said no! So he said, come to home."

Jennifer also said that her in-laws and maternal home are very supportive, and they know that she is speaking the truth.

For the uninformed, before Jennifer Mistry, actor Shailesh Lodha, who played the role of Tarak Mehta, also alleged that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's makers didn't pay his dues after his exit from the show.
