In an recent interview with a leading newspaper, Ulka Gupta revealed how once she rejected doing an endorsement for fairness cream because it sets a wrong notion in the society and it is against her values.

From Jhansi Ki Rani to Banni Chow Home Delivery, Ulka Gupta has taken up roles which empower women and give out a strong message in the society. She essayed the role of Banni, a young girl, who delivers tiffin in Rajasthan. It was her role of young Rani Laxmibai that made her a household name.
