Umar Riaz Reveals If Asim Riaz Deserved To Win Bigg Boss 13; Says ‘With Due Respect To Sidharth Shukla….’

Asim Riaz, who became a household name post his stint in Bigg Boss 13, got embroiled in a controversy of late post his comment regarding the popular reality show. It happened after he claimed that Sidharth Shukla's Bigg Boss 13 win was rigged and that the makers didn't want him to win. And while it got everyone brimming with an opinion, now his brother Umar Riaz has opened up if Asim deserved to win Bigg Boss 13. This happened during the former Bigg Boss 15 contestant's interview with Siddharth Kanan wherein he was all praises for Asim.

Umar said that with Sidharth Shukla was already a known face on the television and enjoyed a massive fan following, Asim carved a niche for himself and had shown a great growth on the show from being an unknown face to having fandoms. Umar said, "Mujhe lagta hai obviously. Aap sirf growth dekho ki ek unknown face show me aata hai and uski popularity.... he doesn't have any fans, with all due respect to Sidharth he had a fan following, and to go till there and to stand against him and people are only talking about you and Sidharth, the whole show is on you guys. Jo aapki journey thi, aapne itna progress kia ki you are in the finale and I met Salman bhai also, he also loved Asim. He was like 'Uski (Asim) aankhon me jo rage hai na I can resonate with that'".

However, Umar said there are no grudges even after Asim didn't win the show. "Obviously I would want my brother to win and Sidharth ke gharwale chahte ki wo hi jeete. Wo sabke saath hota hai. Mere liye tha ki wo jeetna chahiye but nahi jeeta but he did manage to do everything he wanted. Mujhe nahi lagta isme koi gila ya shikwa hona chahiye," he was quoted saying.

Meanwhile, there has been a buzz about Umar Riaz participating in Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp 2. It is reported that he will be participating in the reality show along with Soundarya Sharma, Archana Gautam, Emiway Bantai, Pratik Sehajpal etc.
