Maybe I Am A Stain: Uorfi Javed Recalls Having Abusive Childhood, Talks About Negative Impact Of TROLLING

Uorfi Javed: Social media sensation Uorfi Javed, in a very short span, has made a huge name for herself. She is known for her bizarre and unusual outfits, which she makes out of any material. The diva, each time she steps out, grabs headlines for her outlandish attire.

Uorfi is a paparazzi favourite and gets clicked in the city showing off her DIY costumes. She never fails to surprise her fans with her quirky fashion choices, and at the same time, her experimental clothes disgust many. But life was not a bed of roses for Uorfi before she became a sensation on the internet, as she had a conservative father.

UORFI JAVED ON GETTING TROLLED AND ITS NEGATIVE IMPACT

Uorfi Javed recently appeared on YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, where she recalled her childhood memories and went candid about how she was 'underconfident, weird, and had no friends'. She also opened up about the trolling she receives every day and how it has a negative impact on her.

She said, "Maybe what they say is right- maybe I am not good enough to be a woman, maybe I am a stain on society, maybe I am a bad example for the younger generation. In the language of trolls, as they say it, maybe I am a s**t."

She further added, "I can't quit and even if I do, what's happened is always there on the internet. Kya mai itni buri hoon? (Am I so bad?) Maybe no one will accept me, no family will accept me."

UORFI JAVED ABOUT HER FATHER AND ABUSIVE CHILDHOOD

Uorfi then also revealed how her father used to physically abuse her so that she would fall unconscious. "I was not close to my father at all. If one of the parents gets angry and that anger is being taken out on me, that is a different thing," she shared.

She went on to say, "Aap maar ke samjhaoge kisi bacche ko ki wo behosh ho jaaye, toh phir kya hi samjh aayega baache ko. Aap palat ke to kuch bol nahi sakte ho to wo gussa badhta jata hai and then at one point you are like- 'Ho gaya yaar'. Jab baccha bada ho jata hai and aap uspe haath uthate ho to wo bahut negatively affect karta hai."

Uorfi is slowly stepping into the fashion world and recently turned muse for ace designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She has been a part of several hit TV serials, like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and rose to fame after participating in Bigg Boss OTT.
