Vaibhavi Upadhyaya death: Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly is grief-stricken as she has lost her Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai co-star in a car accident. Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, who was fondly known for her role in the hit sitcom, passed away after meeting with a car accident. Producer JD Majethia took to social media to inform his followers about her death.

CAUSE OF VAIBHAVI UPADHYAYA DEATH

JD Majethia got emotional as he mourned the loss of his friend. Sharing a note on Instagram story, the ace producer wrote, "Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay popularly known as "Jasmine "of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in the north. Family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites . RIP Vaibhavi (sic)."

He called Vaibhavi a 'dear friend', mentioning that she left for her heavenly abode because of a car accident in the northern part of India.

The Khichdi actor, who worked with Vaibhavi in several shows, said that her funeral would take place in Mumbai on Wednesday (May 24) after her family members bring her mortal remains to the city.

Rupali Ganguly, who is currently seen in Star Plus' Anupamaa opposite Gaurav Khanna, shared a tweet, expressing her pain over her co-star's death. Reacting to Deven Bhojani's tweet, she wrote, "This is not fair. Gone too soon."

Deven Bhojani, who directed Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, tweeted, "Shocking! A very fine actress and a dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay, popularly known as " Jasmine " of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in north a few hours back. Rest in peace Vaibhavi #SarabhaiVsSarabhai ⁦⁦#Hatsoff (sic)."

The industry is yet to come to terms with the demise of Aditya Singh Rajput and now, it received another sad news. Aditya, who featured in several advertisements and TV shows, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment.
