Vaibhavi Upadhyaya’s Fiance Jay Gandhi Pens An Emotional Note For His ‘Gundi’: You Will Never Truly Be Gone

In what came as a shocking news from the telly world, Vaibhavi Upadhyaya passed away during a car accident last week. For the uninitiated, Vaibhavi became a household name with her stint in the second season of the very popular Sarabhai vs Sarabhai starring Rupali Ganguly in the lead. She was seen playing the role of Jasmine in the show.

According to media reports, Vaibhavi had met with an accident during her vacation in Himachal Pradesh with her fiance Jay Gandhi. And while Vaibhavi's demise has left everyone in shock, days after the unfortunate incident, Jay took to his social media account and penned an emotional note for the late actress and spoke about how much he misses her.

Taking to his Instagram account, Jay shared a beautiful picture of himself with Vaibhavi. Reportedly, this pic was clicked during their roka ceremony wherein Jay was dressed in a cream coloured kurta pyjama with pink jacket and was seen hugging Vaibhavi who looked stunning in her orange suit with floral embroidery.

In the caption, Jay wrote, "I only miss you every minute of everyday. You will never truly be gone, I will hold you safe in my heart forever. Gone too soon. RIP my Gundi, I love you". It is reported that Vaibhavi and Jay were set to tie the knot in a couple of months now and were enjoying their courtship period to the fullest of late.

Meanwhile, several celebs were seen mourning Vaibhavi's untimely demise. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai producer JD Majethia remembered the late actress as a lively person and revealed that he wanted to cast her in Happy Family. He even penned a heartfelt note for Vaibhavi and wrote, "Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay popularly known as "Jasmine "of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away.She met with an accident in north. Family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for the last rites. RIP Vaibhavi".
