After Cyrus' exit from the show, the production house released a statement to inform the fans about the same. It is being said that he left BB OTT house due to a medical emergency in the family. Cyrus has remained tight-lipped about the development.

"We regret to inform you that Cyrus Broacha had to take an emergency exit from Bigg Boss OTT 2 due to a sudden medical emergency in the family," the makers said in a statement as quoted as saying by IANS. The team asked the fans to 'respect' his privacy as Cyrus and his family requested for privacy and understanding during this period.

Bigg Boss informed the housemates that he allowed Cyrus to leave on humanitarian grounds after his family members made a request. Bebika Dhurve broke down into tears as she shared a close bond with Cyrus. Abhishek Malhan also got emotional and spoke about him comforting the YouTuber when he cried, thinking about his family.

On a related, the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2 have extended the show for two weeks. The grand finale will now take place on August 13, 2023.
