Yeh Hai Chahatein: Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi's show has been hogging all the limelight ever since the rumours about the leap surfaced on the internet. After weeks of speculations, the channel finally confirmed that the late night drama would witness a time jump and new leads would take over.

SARGUN KAUR, ABRAR QAZI TO QUIT YEH HAI CHAHATEIN

While Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi are still a part of Yeh Hai Chahatein, they will eventually move out of the show. The two celebs will set the tone for the new storyline, making an exit in the upcoming episodes.

Considering the fans loved watching Sargun and Abrar's chemistry since the past three-and-a-half years, it was a tad difficult for the new artists to strike a chord with the audience. Shagun Sharma and Pravisht Mishra, who joined the daily soap as the new leads, are slowly and steadily winning hearts of the audience.

However, there is a certain section of the viewers, who have expressed their displeasure over the leap and entry of new artists. Both Shagun and Pravisht have received flak on social media for 'joining' the show and replacing Sargun and Abrar.

SHAGUN SHARMA OPENS UP ON TROLLING

Shagun, who was last seen in Harphoul Mohini, shared her thoughts about getting trolled for replacing an established actress in Yeh Hai Chahatein. She opened up about the same, expressing her opinion on how a few viewers trolled her for taking over the mantle of Yeh Hai Chahatein.

When asked about facing difficulty in convincing the loyal fans of the show to accept her, the Sasural Genda Phool 2 star told TellyExpress, "That happens with everyone. Jab main koi cheez dekhti hu aur usme achanak se koi aajaye, mere favourite character ko maar dete hai, that's very normal reaction to have. Eventually, they will understand. I am not in a rush."

Shagun made a valid point, mentioning that people are emotionally attached to the character and therefore, it's normal to feed upset when another artist replaces their favourite. Sharing her two cents on the trolling, she stated that she is in no rush as she believes people will understand in a few days.

Yeh Hai Chahatein, which is the spin-off of Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi's hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, airs on Star Plus at 10:30pm.
