Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, starring Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Jay Soni in the lead, has managed to keep the audience intrigued with its interesting storyline backed by strong performances. And now, the popular family drama is making the headlines for its massive twist wherein Jay Soni, who plays the role of Abhinav, will be exiting the show.

Ever since Jay confirmed his exit from the show, there have been speculations about his character's journey will end on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which has Harshad and Pranali playing the role of Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively. Of late, there have been reports about Abhinav's death on the show as Jay is quitting the show.

The media reports also suggested that Abhimanyu is likely to be the reason behind Abhinav's death. This left the audience curious to know what exactly would go wrong between Abhinav and Abhimanyu. And now, as per a recent update, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is set for another shocking twist as Abhimanyu will not be the reason for Abhinav's death now.

Reportedly, there has been a change in the script of the show. Wondering how will Abhinav leave the story? Well, as per Gossip TV, Abhinav will die by accident and Abhimanyu will not be the reason for his demise.

Although no official confirmation in this regard has been made so far, the new update will certainly bring new twists to the plot. Meanwhile, there is a buzz that post Abhinav's demise, Abhimanyu and Akshara will be reuniting on the show.

Hinting about this massive reunion, producer Rajan Shahi had earlier told Telly Chakkar, "While the viewers will surely miss Abhinav aka Jay Soni, I am looking forward to the next journey of Abhimanyu and Akshara".

Meanwhile, Jay Soni has expressed his gratitude towards the audience for the love and support coming his way for his character Abhinav. He also admitted that he is satisfied with how his character has shaped up on the show.
