Stepping into their shoes are Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami, who now essays the roles of Abhira and Armaan, the new lead couple. The introduction of this fresh generation has garnered a positive response from the dedicated fan base. Despite their recent entry into Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the makers have already outlined various intriguing twists and turns in the storyline.

Amid all this, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai new heroine Samridhi Shukla recently opened up about the response to the new generation so far.

The actress celebrated Diwali by attending the puja on YRKKH set with Rajan Shahi and the whole cast of the long-running Star Plus show. During media interaction on the set, she shared her happiness on the fans' response till now.

Talking about the reactions after Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's ecit due to the leap, Samridhi said, "Acha lag raha hai, accepted feel hota hai. Matlab, team mei toh thi hi but audience ki taraf se bhi acha lag raha hai ki wo accept kar paa rahe hai. Because sab mujhse yahi puch rahe hai ki, you know, Pranali and Harshad have done fabulous. Wahi tha ki ek mauka chahiye tha, at least unhone dekha hamara episode, unhone dekhi hamari koshish, humei apna waqt diya toh at least now they have a chance to decide, you know, and everything is positive. Now, everything is coming in, all comments, and DMs wagarah, mai sab kuch padhti hoon. Bohot acha lagta hai. So, thank you from the entire team, matlab jo bhi dekhte hai, support karte hai.
