Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Jay aka Abhinav Gets SPECIAL Surprise From Makers Post Exit From Harshad’s Show

Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod's popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been creating a massive buzz off late with a change in the lead cast. For the uninitiated, Jay Soni, who played the role of Abhinav in the show, has quit the show. In fact, Jay's exit had brought a new twist in the storyline.

Needless to say, Abhinav's exit has left everyone emotional and the social media is abuzz with tweets lauding Jay Soni's performance in the show. Interestingly, as Jay has wrapped the shooting, the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai threw a grand farewell for him.

During this farewell bash, Jay got a special surprise from the makers as producer Rajan Shahi gave a heartfelt speech for him. According to a report published in Telly Chakkar, Rajan said, "Akshara and Abhimanyu's journey gave really nice padding to your journey, so each character came through. Thanks to this brilliant trilogy of actor who has been there for each other, but you have done an outstanding job, and from each one of us, the Goenka's, the Birla's, Pranali, Harshad is not here today but from Harshad as well, we want to thank you. My Mom specifically came for you as she is one of your biggest fans. She would ask me everyday in the morning, as to what will happen, how will it happen. So I would just hand her the phone and tell her to talk to Zama sir. But, I think it is just the beginning of our association, Jay".

Meanwhile, Jay also took to social media and share glimpses of his last scene as Abhinav. In the caption he shared an emotional note and wrote, "Jo aata hai, usse ek na ek din Jaana hi hota hai... Socha tha kabhi alvida na kehna, par alvida toh kehna hi padta hai... Sharing some glimpses from the final moments on set...Encapsulating the energy, the sweat, and the emotions that filled the set!"
