Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Rajan Shahi's Star Plus show YRKKH completed 14 successful years in January this year. While the family drama premiered with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as protagonists, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata now revolves around the third generation.

Pranli Rathod and Harshad Chopda are playing the lead roles of Akshara and Abhimanyu respectively in the long-running daily soap and are winning hearts. As the much-loved series is still getting viewers' love and great ratings, the makers keep on experimenting with new tracks.

Earlier this year, the show took a leap of six years after which AbhiRa got separated and both of them are now with other people. While Akshara is happy with Abhinav (Jay Soni), Abhimanyu is all set to marry Akshara's sister and Neil's widow, Aarohi (Karishma Sawant).

ONSCREEN EQUATION OF AAROHI AND AKSHARA

While Aarohi and Akshara don't share a great bond on-screen, Karishma opened up about her off-screen equation with co-star Pranali Rathod in a recent interview.

Well, the on-screen sisters are fond of each other and share a great equation in real life. Talking about it, Karishma told ETimes, "We are constantly in touch with each other. Even when we are not doing scenes together, we share jokes and memes on Instagram. We greet each other without fail. Whenever we have scenes together we always make sure that there's complete silence when we are working. So we are always there to support each other, lift each other up, be it at work or off-screen."

Well, it is indeed heartening to see their strong friendship off-screen. Don't you agree?

As per the currently track, Abhimanyu has finally understood his mistake of not supporting Akshara after Neil's death. While he still loves Akshara and wants to reunite with her, his wedding with Aarohi is just round the corner.

Now, it'll be interesting to see if the marriage will finally happen or the makers will introduce another twist to stop it.
