Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai LEAP: Fahmaan Khan-Tejasswi Prakash To REPLACE Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai leap: Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda's show has remained in the headlines after the speculations over a time jump made waves on social media. Star Plus and Rajan Shahi have refrained from reacting to rumours of a leap in YRKKH but the buzz for the same is at an all-time high. The Internet has been flooded with different articles, stating that the leap would happen soon in the hit daily soap.

HARSHAD CHOPDA-PRANALI RATHOD TO MAKE AN EXIT FROM YRKKH?

It is being said that the makers have informed Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod about the time jump that is expected to take place in October or November. This will be the third leap in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the creative team has reportedly run short of ideas.

There were mumours that Shaheer Sheikh and Karan Kundrra have been approached to play grown-up Abhir in YRKKH. However, it was a fake news and Filmibeat squashed it. Shaheer already played the role of Abir in the spin-off of Yeh Rishta titled Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.

SHAHEER SHEIKH IS NOT REPLACING HARSHAD CHOPDA

"The rumours about Shaheer Sheikh being a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are fake. Shaheer is busy with Netflix's upcoming project with Kriti Sanon. He is not doing fiction shows or television at the moment. While he shares a great bond with Rajan Shahi, the speculations about him being approached for YRKKH are false," our khabri said.

"Karan was a part of Yeh Rishta when Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan played the leads. He played the third angle in Kartik and Sirat's relationship. He won hearts with his performance as Ranveer in the show. Repeating him in the same show means the audience won't be able to strike a chord with his character. Anyways, he is busy with Thank You For Coming promotions and a yet-to-be-titled project," an industry source told Filmibeat.

While Shaheer has denied being approached for the same, Karan has not reacted to the rumours about him replacing Harshad Chopda as the new lead.

TEJASSWI PRAKASH-FAHMAAN KHAN IN CONTENTION TO PLAY YEH RISHTA NEW LEADS?

Gossip mills recently suggested that Fahmaan Khan and Tejasswi Prakash might play the lead roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after the generation leap. A tweet was shared on a X handle but it was deleted. However, fans were quick enough to notice the same and they discussed if Tejasswi and Fahmaan would join YRKKH.

When we asked our source, he laughed off the rumours. "Rajan Shahi is known for giving opportunities to fresh faces like Hina Khan, Shivangi Joshi and Pranali Rathod. He must have chalked out a proper plan for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, if it is taking a leap. While the production house would love to work with Tejasswi and Fahmaan, I think new faces will be auditioned for the lead roles. There's no doubt that Fahmaan Khan and Tejasswi Prakash are wonderful actors, who bring their own fan following but I think the chances of them featuring in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are bleak."

On the professional front, Tejasswi was last seen in Naagin 6, which ended in July. Talking about Fahmaan, his show DharamPatnii will go off air next month after a run of close to one year.

DharamPatnii will be replaced by Bigg Boss 17, which will launch on October 15 at 9pm.
