While the channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the leap, gossip mills suggest that there will be a major sequence in the show. Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod are rumoured to be making an exit from the daily soap.

Speculations have been rife that the leap in YRKKH will happen in October or November. After the conjecture spread like wildfire on the internet, rumours about Harshad Chopda leaving the show left the fans worried. The Bepannaah actor, who won the Best Beta award at Star Parivaar Awards 2023, has refrained from reacting to the same.

Amid the speculation, Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan suggested that Shaheer Sheikh might play the role of grown-up Abhir after the leap. The actor, who was last seen in Woh Toh Hai Albela, already worked in the spin-off of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He played the role of Abir in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke opposite Rhea Sharma.

Filmibeat has already debunked the rumours of Shaheer replacing Harshad Chopda. "The rumours about Shaheer Sheikh being a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are fake. Shaheer is busy with Netflix's upcoming project with Kriti Sanon. He is not doing fiction shows or television at the moment. While he shares a great bond with Rajan Shahi, the speculations about him being approached for YRKKH are false," our khabri said.

IS KARAN KUNDRRA ENTERING YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA?

No, Mr Kundrra is not doing YRKKH. "Why will he do a show which he already did two years back? He was a part of Yeh Rishta when Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi played the lead roles. Please don't believe the rumours," our source laughed off the rumours.

Karan has been offered a few shows but he is keen to focus on his Bollywood and OTT projects. "After Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal ended, Karan Kundrra has been offered a few exciting projects on television. As we all know, Karan is picky and will only take up the offer if he is convinced with the character and the storyline. Things will be clear in the upcoming days but we cannot confirm that he is doing the show," a source had told Filmibeat in connection with Jennifer Winget's show. Karan Wahi has now bagged the upcoming drama which also stars Reem Shaikh.
