Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Leap Update: Following the success of Bidaai, Rajan Shahi once again teamed up with Star Plus in 2009 to create Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, featuring Hina Khan and Karan Mehra. Over the course of the past 14 years, the show has undergone numerous transformations, including multiple time leaps, and it currently revolves around the third generation.
In 2021, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as the new leads, portraying Abhimanyu and Akshara, respectively, following a time leap. They have since captured the hearts of viewers. The current storyline focuses on Akshara's life after the tragic loss of Abhiman (Jay Soni).

Akshara has formed a strong bond with Abhimanyu as they jointly support her son, Abhir, who is struggling to cope with the sudden loss of Abhinav. Together, they are working to help the young boy heal. In the upcoming storyline, Akshara discovers that she is pregnant with Abhinav's child, leading AbhiRa to consider remarrying for the sake of their son.
However, amidst all these developments, rumors have surfaced that the show's ratings have dipped, and there are speculations about an impending generational leap. Furthermore, there is talk of Fahmaan Khan potentially replacing Harshad Chopda as the new male lead post-leap. Nevertheless, the star of Imlie and Dharampatnii has finally addressed these rumors.
FAHMAAN KHAN NOT REPLACING HARSHAD IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI
Dismissing the reports, Fahmaan told Bollywood Spy, "Nahi, nahi. Aisa kuch nahi hai, abhi tak toh koi baat nahi hui hai. Baat shayad hui thi mere manager uske baad I don't know what happened."
When the reporter further tried to confirm if he's in talks with the YRKKH makers, he cleared, "Kuch nahi hua. Mere se toh koi contact nahi hua hai. Mere manager ne baat ki hogi nahi ki hogi, mujhe pata nahi hai. Kyunki he doesn't tell me everything. He tells me what's important. So, this, I haven't got any information about. So, I'd rather not comment."
The development will surely make Fahmaan Khan fans sad.
