Could’ve Blurred…: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actress Blasts Troll For Being Nasty To Jay Soni Aka Abhinav

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Rajan Shahi's YRKKH has successfully enthralled fans for the past 14 years, and this enduring family drama continues to be one of the highest-rated shows on television. Presently, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai showcases Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda in the lead roles, portraying the characters of Akshara and Abhinav, respectively.

A few months ago, beloved TV actor Jay Soni joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, stepping into the role of Abhinav, the new guy in Akshara's life, just before a significant time leap in the storyline.

Currently, the plot revolves around Abhinav's sincere efforts to remain connected with his son Abhir, who has recently discovered that Abhinav is not his biological father. While AbhiRa fans are awaiting their comeback, a section of social media users regularly trolls Jay Soni.

Once again displaying her prowess in handling online trolls, Pragati Mehra, known for her role as Mahima in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, fearlessly confronted a troll who had left a hateful comment about her co-star Jay Soni. Not only did the troll tag Mehra in a series of offensive direct messages, but she also took it upon herself to address the situation with grace and assertiveness.

PRAGATI MEHRA'S STRONG REPLY TO JAY SONI AKA ABHINAV HATER

Recently, while checking her Instagram direct messages, Pragati came across a string of hurtful messages filled with hate for Jay. Giving it back to the troll, the actress took to her Insta stories and wrote, "So I decided to go through my DMs today as its kinda difficult to check it every day and I came across unseen tags on stories filled with hate for an actor in the garb of hate for a character. I did delete tons of stories that were posted..at the end of the day it's your page & understanding. I can't control that, even if it's warped, but then I came across an absolutely unnecessary comment for a colleague on a story I posted, And I was compelled to respond To make fans understand. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ACTOR -the REAL and the CHARACTER -the REEL, and if you do not understand that, it speaks volumes about your daftness. I am choosing words like 'daft' coz it's stupid."

In another story, she added, "I could have blurred the name of the fan/fan page/ handle but wanted to showcase the daftness & venom one spill for no reason at all! (And more so, tag me!!) WHY?? Am I either /or of them? You and everyone else do this for traction n eyeballs, so here I give you eyeballs for your unnecessary viciousness. My friends, unfortunately, it speaks volumes about you; fortunately, very little about the other person. This ain't fetching you any brownie points, even from the one who you supposedly love."

For the unversed, recent reports suggested that Jay Soni's character will soon bid adieu to the show. However, he later cleared that nothing like that is happening and he's happily shooting for the show.
