Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai twist: Ardent viewers of Samridhi Shukla and Shehzada Dhami starrer need to gear up for major drama in the show. The Star Plus fiction show will be undergoing a major change in terms of storyline. After Mussoorie, the show will shift back its focus to Udaipur where Armaan's family resides.

YRKKH has remained in the headlines ever since Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod exited the serial. The two celebrities left the show as the makers introduced a generation leap to spice up the drama and the ratings. After their departure, Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami joined the show as the new leads.

While Shehzada is seen as Armaan, Samridhi is playing the role of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Amid the hullabaloo over Yuvraj forcing Abhira to marry him, he will shoot Akshara and the later will die. While she tried to contact Kartik's parents and her grandparents, Manish refused to make any contact with her.

She was on her deathbed when she called Manish but to no avail. The official Instagram handle of Star Plus released a promo along with the caption, "Ek taraf apni Maa Akshara ko kho diya hai Abhira ne, aur dusri or Armaan le raha hai Abhira ki zimmedaari. Preeti Amin, who replaced Pranali Rathod as the older Akshara, has wrapped up the shoot for her last episode. The leap episodes started airing from November 6 and Akshara's death sequence will beam on Star Plus. Hence, the Katha Ankahee actress will be bidding adieu to the serial in one month of joining YRKKH.

As Akshara's character is dying in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Preeti Amin will bid adieu to the audience. Akshara will be a thing of the past and the show will now only focus on Armaan and Abhira.

Samridhi Shukla, in her recent interview, spoke about Akshara's demise and Armaan-Abhira's wedding. "Mummy ki akhri ichcha tha ki tum shaadi karlo. Unhe Armaan pe bahut bharosa tha, isliye vo chahti thi ki Abhira usse shaadi karle. Unhone kaha- 'mera koi bharosa nahi hai, mujhe goli lag gayi, maim kab tak jeeyo, Bina rishte ko naam diye kisi ke saath hona sahi nhi, samaj sawal karta'. Iss pressure ke rehte Armaan Abhira ko shaadi karna padta," the Saavi Ki Savaari actress said.
